Cold Forging

Cold forging (also called cold forming) is characterised by very low material consumption, narrow tolerances and smooth surfaces.

We shape metals by means of cold forging, an industrial machining process that offers unique production options with substantial synergy effects and is characterised by both low material wastage and options for extremely narrow tolerances and smooth surfaces.

We manufacture components in stainless, regular and alloyed steel, aluminium and copper with a pressure from 100 to 1,000 tonnes and manufacture high-strength finished products on machinery that operates at up to 1,800 strokes per hour.

Steel Products

DFT-Presswork has a vast experience and expertise in the production of cold-pressed products in different steel types, including both hollow and solid elements.

Combination processes

DFT-Presswork continuously develops and makes optimisations to its production methods, including to its combination processes where the products are pressed and cold-formed directly from coils.

The combination technique results in particularly high efficiency and optimal material utilisation, in particular, for large series. (Example)

Copper/Aluminium

Aluminium and copper are materials that are particularly well-suited to the cold-forming process. Both are easily moulded, even into complex shapes, and are simultaneously characterised by optimal material consumption.

Stainless steel

DFT Presswork has a vast experience and expertise in the production of cold-pressed products in stainless steel, including both hollow and solid elements.
